Hi Everyone... 1 1/2 weeks left and counting

Hi I am having Lap RNY on May 21st. I am so excited and nervous at the same time. I think it is great that they made a local board for us! I noticed some of you have had very long waits. I am actually on two other lists that I have not even got any call from for a visit. I started seriously going after this surgery in Jan. so I feel very lucky now that things have gone so smoothly and relatively quickly. I can't wait to be on the other side. Good luck to everyone. Hi Heather, Good for you!! I know you must be nervous but so excited for this to finally be a reality. I appreciate your comments on Healthnet. I did talk to Liz a couple of times last week and she said Dr. Bell is continuing to take Healthnet and that negotiations are going on. I think that I can change insurances in June so if worse comes to worse I will do that. I have my psych eval on the 20th and that is the last of all my stuff that needs to get in. I am soooo anxious to get a date and begin this process. I have never been so motivated for anything in my life. I wish you the best of luck and hope I can be some support for you. Heather, You hang in there. The same thing happened to me, I kept all my appts and dogged every doctor's office to keep on top of things. You will be fine. Hi Heather, Good luck to you on your wls journey. I have had 1 1/2 year wait so believe me when i say i could relate, i just tried to educate, read, and learn all i can on my upcoming "new" life .
