Those birthday parties are tough.  My niece had her eighth birthday about a month ago and I lucked out.  They did the food first and I was able to eat right, then she opened her gifts and then they sang happy birthday and blew out the candles.  So I was able to leave at that point and didn't have to deal with the cake and ice cream.  Pizza is something I love but I don't want to even try to find out if I can eat because then "look out"!  I could manage it if a vegetable pizza was ordered and I ate the toppings but so far I haven't been anywhere where we order pizza.  Luckily, my husband hasn't had a craving for one. Good luck with Monday.  (That used to always be my "start a diet" day. LOL)  We'll get through this together.  Keep posting. (((HUGS))) Bev

Bev, I've never posted before but I have been avidly reading your food log in hopes it will help me once I get through my surgery.  I noticed that you are now more than half way to your goal!  That's great.  You must be very excited.  Laurie
