I live in Middletown and I adore Dr. Sally Irons-she is affiliated with Middlesex Hospital. She is wonderful caring and supportive--as is her entire staff.

Her group has 3 office: 2 in Middletown (one in back of MIddlesex Hospital) and another on Saybrook Road: the third office is in Essex.

Congrats on being preggers and good luck finding someone. I see someone with St. Francis in Hartford and it took me three tries to find a Dr. in the practice that I like. I know how hard it is to find a good one.
I shall now be know as Hagatha: Queen of the queens.

I have to say that in 1991, the day after my father died from cancer, I got a call from the office telling me that I needed to come in immediately! Well, I went in the next day with my husband and the dr. had to do a biopsy....I ended up having to have laser surgery....I sat on the 'bed' crying saying OMG how are we going to pay for this?? We were stooooopid kids and didn't have health insurance then....Well....Dr. Robert Yordan told me "I have seen too many die with this.....I will not charge you ...you just pay my nurse $25.00 for tonight's visit and then pay what the hospital charges.....(which they have a program for).....SO....I am kind of biased toward Dr. Yordan.....he also delivered my first son......He is on Saybrook Rd. in Middletown.
