I Got a Date!

I am so excited!  I got a call today from Dr. Aranow's office saying that my insurance had approved me.  And then she gave me my date-August 13th.  I was really surprised that it was so close.  Now I am feel ing everything from euphoria to terror.  Mostly excitement though.  Thanks to all for being a part of OH.  Although I don't post a lot, I do come on OH daily and I've drawn so much knowledge and inspiration from all of you.  Thanks.

Hi Jenni Congrats!! how exciting!! im so happy for you!!!  are you having open RNY? do you have to do luquids for 10 days? Good Luck!!!

Yup, Open RNY for me.  Thank God, I do not have to do a liquid diet.  I've lost about 30 lbs. on the pre-op diet though.

CONGRATS !!!! COME TO SEE ME AND I WILL GIVE YOU CONGRAT HUG AT PARTY OM AUG 11TH. ASK ME FOR ANY ADVICES BEFORE YOUR SURGERY THERE ARE ALOT OF PEOPLE AT WLS PARTY WILL GIVE YOU ALOT OF GOOD ADVICES!!!!!! YOU ARE IN EXCELLENT HANDS WITH DR ARANOW.

Lots of hugs from me.  I just went thru it a couple of weeks ago.  You'll do great.  if you want a visitor let me know.  I will come down to see you.  PM me with your hospital etc. Congrats on your date!
