Update on liltric (Angel Duty)

Hi all, Laura (lilstric) had her RnY lap done today! She came though the surgery with flying colors and is resting in her room. She is having some pretty awful back pain right now, but she's sitting in a recliner chair to take some of the pressure off. She wanted me to post updates here as I am her "cyber angel" as it were. She sounded really good on the phone. She was totally congnitive and alert. We talked for about ten minutes. How long is she gonna be in the hospital? What is her number if she wants calls and stuff. Kathy

Thumper1: Please give Laura my very best for a swift recovery. I am thinking that the pain in her back is gas. I had lots of that. If it is gas... give her this idea to ponder. Have her get a foot rub. I kid you not... it helped greatly with my pain. It helped move the gas along faster. And of course... walk walk walk. Give her my regards. I took a gander at your profile page. My man! You are a miracle in action! You are not the same man that you were 152 lbs ago! Impressive. Bravo. Ain't this chance that we get a gift to behold? Oh yes... one we have to work at on a daily basis...but doable finally. Results... Towanda
