NON-SCALE VICTORY FOR ME

I was just at Stop & Shop buying my calcium/vitamin D chews and on my way for a quick exit to the self check-outs when I passed my nephew going the other way with a friend.  I called his name and we both had to back up to talk to each other.  My nephew is 19 and he said: Wow! You're looking really trim Aunt Bev.  I didn't even recognize you. And then he said Wow again. It was really cool. What was your non-scale victory recently??? Bev

I am a week out of surgery and noticed that I am loosing weight in my FACE of all places.   My colleague at work said the same thing this morning when I saw her.

I had a fw tonight at work. I was able to get passed people when before I would have bumped into their chairs. THEN... I walked between two cars and was shocked when my hips didn't bump the cars when I fully expected them to.

Michelle, Me too with the face.  I was a chubby cheeked girl for sure.  It looked like I was storing nuts for the winter in those cheeks.  And the double chin was like a pelican's pouch.  If you look at my profile you'll see that I lost a lot in the face. Poohette, That is cool when you can fit into tighter places than you used to.  Getting around and past people was always embarassing.  Good for you. Bev
