PRO BYPASS GENERAL PRACTICIONERS IN NEW BRITIAN

i AM LOOKING FOR A BYPASS FRIENDLY PYSICIAN IN THE NEW BRITIAN AREA. MY LARGE FRIEND IS INTERESTED IN A BYPASS BUT WAS TOLD TO SUCK IT UP AND STOP EATING. NOW SHE IS SHAKING AND CONFUSED AND TIRED ALL THE TIME. ANYONE KNOW OF A GOOD DOC TO SEND HER TO? tHANKS

I know one in Glastonbury right off Rt2. He is excellent. Very supportive. I know it's the other side of the Hartfod area but if you want the name let me know.

Dr. Elizabeth Solano in Kensington.....She is a great pcp and was very supportive of my idea to have wls...BUT she does stress the importance of exersize and attending support group meetings and such,,,especially since she has a few patients that have not had long-term success with wls...

UCONN used to have a program until they moved it to New Brit Gen.  I wasn't happy with the program when it was at UCONN.

Dr. Barba is at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford.  I wasn't impressed with him either. That is why I am so happy with Dr. Tishler.  He is at Hartford Hospital.  He has done many procedures and is very good.

 

My GP is Dr. Daniel Callaghan in Rocky Hill.  He was very supportive when I told him I wanted the surgery and wrote a very nice letter of recommendation for my insurance.  He's located on the Silas Deane Highway.
