Got my date (s)

Ok, so I have a date of July 30th (even though we are still waiting on the thumbs up from the ins...but my doc's office is practically promising me that I will go thru the approval process w/o a hitch) AND then I am told that on the 23rd and the 25th there are possible slots I could be bumped to IF the folks scheduled for those days do not go thru.... So I am trusting in their expertise about the insurance and not stressing about it and getting ready to have surgery either in 2 weeks or 3 weeks! LOL What a trip! I will keep you all posted! Hi Lisa...I just posted on your other thread....I am going in for lap-rny on July 30 also....I'll be at St. Francis though.....I originally had July 23...BUT my PCP will be on vacation then and if my hubby will be home with the kids, then I want my PCP holding my gown closed in the back while I am walking through the halls  (he is the best dr. in the world...another Patch Adams)...ANYWAY....CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!  You will do fine!!  You are in good hands from what I have heard..........peace~laura We are put on this Earth not to see through each other....BUT to see each other through! Thanks for the wise words, Laura....You are so right! I am getting more and more excited each day. My desire to do this is much larger than my fears. I had my pre-op physical with my PCP this morning and then my pre-op appt with my surgeon is on the 17th...looks like we both will be celebrating a new life on the 30th! I will say a prayer for you! Ditto my dear....will you be up to attending the picnic??  We will be camping that weekend at Hammonasset (God willing)...hopefully it won't be too hot because I am worried about keeping myself hydrated.....anyway, it would be great to see you there!!! I am thinking I will play the old wait and see game for the picnic...I am purposely keeping my commitments low these days so I can focus on my pre op and then my post op...I am sure it is going to be a blast though! Off to get out there and take a nice walk...it is gorgeous out! Blessings, Lisa
