Finally got my surgery date..

Hi everyone, So the day is getting near, the day my new lifes adventure begins. Im so excited and terrifed at the same time. My surgery date is set for July 16 two weeks before my 25 brithday.  I wanted to thank my bestest friend who introduced me to this great site and has helped to clam my fears and explain pretty much everything about this to me. I love you.... And i also wanted to thank all you guys for your help, understanding and everything...... I will update everyone once i'm done. Thanks you all again. Mary

Congrats and best wishes for a very uneventful but successful surgery.  For the steadiness of your sureon's hands and the alertness of his/her team.  For a virutally pain free recovery with one that ables you to walk, walk, walk, to recover from anesthesia and major surgery.

Take one moment at a time and don't rush yourself to the next stage. Follow orders and rest too!

Protein will be your life from now on.  Try different ones if you find one doesn't taste too good.  A tongue scrapper is vital (buy one at Walmart) to get the excess off of your tongue and things will taste better.  (I know...yuck!) Keep us all posted on how you're doing.  From now (jitters we all have gotten) and after..We'll be here for you! Here's to becoming a BIG, BIG LOSER!  You're young, you need this to improve your life and to live LONG! Paula
