Any support groups

Hello all I was just wondering if there were any local support groups I found one in New Haven but that is an hour+ away from where I am.

Hi Michelle, Sorry to hijack.  Can you give me more info on the L&M group?  Is it affiliated with any particular practice or surgery type and when does it meet? thanks Jen

I live in Wethersfield so yes New London is also over an hour away I am looking for something in this area , maybe I can find more people who live in this area and would like to get together to. Pam

Jenn, where on the shoreline do you live ? I am only asking because my in-laws live in Old Lyme and we go there often infact we are taking the kids fishing down there tomorrow,,, Pam

Hi Pam,   Actually, I live in Old Lyme.  Where are you fishing?  At the DEP or at a beach?  Well, if today is anything like yesterday, it's going to be hellishly hot.  Did your DH grow up here?  Mine did and I'm from Old Saybrook.  It's definitely a small world here in CT. Jen

Hi Jenn My hubby and his family moved to Old Lyme when he was 8yrs old , he will be 40 in August so if you or your hubby are close in age you might now each other Old Lyme is a small town I tease him about it cause I was born and raised in Meriden CT and its much bigger so is where we live now... I am not sure of the name of were we went fishing but when we got off the highway ( exit 71 off I-95 ) we took a right and then took a quick right down a dead end road there were benches and a gazebo and you could see the train bridge cause you were almost under it...LOL we didnt catch anything hubbys line got caught on the rocks twice, jessica lost her worm and then the fish just fed off her other worm...LOL and my son joshua lost his worm and then got stuck on a rock...it was a quick fishing trip...
