Health Net?
Hi T,
Not sure if you remember me, but we met at Norwalk Hospital a few months ago. Anyway, Hi again. I do have Healthnet and have had it since before surgery. Depending on the plan you are enrolled it makes the difference. I have a platinum advantage plan and need no referrals. I have never had denials or issues with this insurance company and have been to many, many specialists in the last 8 months because I have a rare autoimmune disease. I may just be one of the lucky ones, but have absolutely no complaints about their service
Hi T,
I also have Healthnet Healthy choice. So far so good. They approved me within 24 hours of receiving my paperwork from Dr. A's office so that's all I can tell you for now. Also I was talking with Dr. A's office and it is no longer 6 months supervised Dr/'s visits with the plan I have Dr/ Agot it knocked down to 5.
I too, have Health Net Platinum Advantage. Have not had any problems, got rapid approval for my RNY surgery too. I would check out about continued coverage for issues related to your past rny surgery to be sure they will cover this. Just a thought since it sounds like you are planning to change insurance companies. I don't know their policies on this issue. But myself having had them before and after surgery have not had any problems with covering visits and labs.
