Hey to all out there,

Just wondering if anyone is going through the same situation. I called Dr. A's office last week and they told me my paperwork was submitted for approval on May 18th.  I called last wed. May 23rd. They said to give it a week. Well here today is May 30th. Once again I called Dr. A's office and they told me they called the insurance company yesterday to check on it and the insurance company said they never received it. Even though Dr. A's office got a fax confirmtaion sheet it doesn't mean anything to the insurance company. They said they got it an hour ago and just sent it "upstairs for review" Hopefully I will have an answer they said in 48 hours? Just had to vent!!! Anyone else go through the same thing????? Thanks for reading....The saga continues....

I had my surgery with Dr. A on May 15th.  While I think he is fantastic and his office staff are very nice and helpful I have had a similar problem.  Before my surgery they said that they faxed paperwork to my employer but my employer said that they never received it.  Dr. A's office also had a fax receipt.  This happened again after surgery with my FMLA paperwork and again they had a fax receipt.  Both times I asked Dr A's office to re-fax the paperwork and then my employer did receive it.  The best advice I have is to stay on top of things.
