Hi there......I was thinking about picking up a "stability" ball.  For someone like me who is balanced challenged....I was wondering.....what do I do with it????

1. Have you seen the older Curves ad on TV with the woman falling off the ball? Too funny. 2. Check out SparkPeople site.  http://www.sparkpeople.com/resource/exercise_demos.asp?exercise_type=core 3. There is also a piece of exercise equipment call a Bosu. Kind of a flat bottomed stability ball. Check this out for Bosu exercises:   http://www.bosu.com/scripts/cgiip.exe/WService=bosu/story.html?article=2408 Hope this helps. T.

There is also a new, flat bottomed one out called 'the bean'...has exercises to do for tummy, etc. I'd be VERY careful with the ball, you can fall off very easily.  I've always used mine for bouncing and rolling when lying on it on my tummy...mostly for back pain relief.  I used it in late pregnancy 7 years ago when they were so hard to find that I had to go to a special "back" store to buy one. There's dvd's out now that bring you thru a routine, but like I said, be careful our you can hurt yourself.
