has any one had plastic surgery for extra skin...... from having WLS  and did your INS Company pay for it.....

I have had three separate reconstructive surgeries (I refuse to call it plastic surgery or cosmetic surgery) since my WLS in 2004: (1) abdominoplasty and TT, performed during hernia repair; (2) bracioplasty (arms) and breast lift, performed at the same time; and (3) lower body lift. All surgeries were covered by my insurance, BCBS Anthem. I had to appeal the LBL, which was overturned and covered.  I worked very closely with my PCP, who supported medical necessity. I had lots of photos of very bad rashes, and evidence by my PCP that other treatments were unsuccessful in remedying the problems. Hope this helps. M.
