is it true that connecticut insuranc companies wont cover gastric bypass??

Lap Band on 04/30/07
The company I work for just notied us that connecticare is NO LONGER covering gastric surgeries...in fact I had lapband done on 4./30/07 and then was told I got done right under the wire..  I can't understand why...It will help so many people
