Nectar Protein Question

(I know Kathy is a big fan) I am about to order some Nectar Protein drinks. Can anyone recommend a great flavor? I tried 2 in the dr's office yesterday and they were ok, but I have heard other people rave about some flavors. What flavor do you rave about?? I am very sensitive to "YUCKY" tastes, so I need something that doesn't taste like a protein drink. Thanks for your help! Bree

I use myoplex protein. It is much better in my opinion and much better tasting.

Tried that. YUCK! I dont drink drink milk at all so I cant tolerate the milky like shakes. the few I tried samples of this brand of were all milky like shakes. But thanks for the response. I always appreciate them. Bree

Hey Bree!! You were at Barba's office yesterday? Me too!! I was there for my week post op apt. I tried the fuzzy navel (yuck), strawberry kiwi (double yuck), and the lemonaid (tolerable). I am sensitive to yucky tastes as well and hate most protien drinks. Yesterday I asked my boss (who is an MD) if there were protein pills because I just don't want to taste the drinks. He said there is amino acid tablets out there, but you would have to take alot of them to get the recommended amount of protein per day. So if you find something that you like, PLEASE let me know. I sure was. Who did you see? Honore is leaving and NOT coming back. I dont know how I feel about that. Lots of turnover in that office. I will let you know what I like. I pretty much agree with you "findings", but I would switch the strawberry kiwi and the lemonaid. I'll keep ya posted. Thanks, Bree

Bree, The only protein drink that I cared to have was the Nectar Iced Tea. To me it tasted like Crystal lights icetea. Good luck! Chrissy
