I am so confused. I was happy with my decision to have the band but now I am questioning my decision. Any thoughts??? Traci

Evaluate the path you took to your current issues with obesity. Try to assess what your particular food issues may be and what mechanical obstacle you think might work the best for helping you to control (for want of a better term) those things. Then, try to find others who have similar issues and talk to them about which bariatric surgery worked (or didn't work) for them-- and don't forget about the DS and the RNY as other healthy, well-regarded weight loss surgeries. Lastly, remember that you are about to make an intensely personal decision that no amount of reading statistics, or evaluation of other's successes, can make for you--the changes to our bodies are so profound after surgery it is difficult to envision how deeply it affects many of our attidues toward food.

Thank you for you responses. I have decided to go with the Lap Band. It was the one I first decided on so I'm sticking to my guns. My surgery is scheduled for the 18th of this month (10 days, but who's counting?) so I'll post once I'm home and able to. Traci
