Recommitted
It's definately been awhile. I guess I should reintroduce myself . Hi my name is Jen and I have lost 110 lbs. WOOOOOO HOOOOOO!!!
I am stuck though. I have been at 181 for the last 2 months and it is driving me crazy. (I'm sure it has nothing to do with the pretzels, smart food, Lindt chocolate, or any other carbs I can get my hands on).
We just got back from a cruise to the Bahamas, and while sitting on the boat drinking Strawberry Daiquries (that has nothing to do with it either) I realized that I need to get back on the wagon.
If everyone doesn't mind (I'm sure you won't) I am going to get committed again and post here.
Yesterday
Bkfst. eggs (2 scrambled)
Lunch South Beach chicken thing (boy was it good!! they are over by the cheese in the dairy case)
Snack a whole bottle of isopure with crystal lite mixed in. (I did not have it all in one sitting, I know better than that)
A few Lindt chocolates (I can't help it, I work there!!!!)
4 String cheeses (lite)
geez, doesn't sound like I got enough yesterday (protein that is). HMMMMMMMM think thats the problem?????? I'm sure Dr. Floch would agree.
Anyways, I am totally committed again. I encourage anyone who is struggling with getting recommitted to join me in my special "food log for those recommitted". Julio does a great job with everyone who has never fallen off the wagon!!! But I think those of us who need a bigger push should encourage each other in a different way.
Jen
Welcome back !
Hugs to you for recommitting to your food plan--your should be proud of yourself for getting back on track--that takes courage.
In my brief experience (I had my surgery in August of 2007) wth a plateau, I noticed when I upped my water intake the pounds started to leave again. Are you getting enough water in each day?
