New Program/New Surgeon

Has anyone heard about a new surgeon and a new program starting at St Francis? Thanks! Jeanne

Hmmm...Not sure,,,But I heard that Dr. Barba, who was doing it at St. Francis, Is now doing surgery at New Britain General Hospital (NBGH now has a new name, which escapes me at the moment)...Sooo if he is no longer doing the surgery at St. Francis, it would make sense that they would get someone else... Also makes one wonder what happened to caused this change...Why exactly is Dr. Barba not with St. Francis any longer??? Anyone know? (It is possible he is doing both St. F and NBGH....dunno)

Dr. Barba is at both hospitals....I will be using St. Fran.....there is another dr. with Barba but I cannot remember his name...I will check my paperwork tomorrow.....

Dr Barba is doing surgery at both Hospitals however New Britain caters more to patients needs which is Dr Barba number one concern I have not had the band as of yet but Im going through the process Im also planning on having my surgery at New Britain General
