Westchester/CT Support Group

Hi, I thought I posted this but can't seem to find it anywhere, so maybe I did it wrong? I'm having surgery on the 19th and I'm looking for a support group somewhere around northwern Westchester, or the Ridgefield area of CT. Anybody know of any? Thx!

Karen- Wow your name is so farmiliar to me. I live in CT and actually work in Ridgefield, and was wondering if you spend any time in Ridgefield? I'm not sure of any support groups in that area but there are some in Norwalk, stamford, and the pound ridge area... talk soon Toni

We have peer-lead meetings at Norwalk Hospital that are free and open to all. We meet on the first Wednesday of every month and the third Monday (with April 16th being our next meeting). We start our meetings at 6 p.m. in the Norwalk Hospital First Floor Conference Room (and we validate parking, so it's free to park at the hospital). At the Wednesday meetings we try to discuss a particular topic, and the Monday meetings we try to use for more general sharing of our achievements and struggles. However, at all the meetings, because we are peer lead, we address the issues that are most pressing for the people who are there. Also, if you have a significant other, or friend or relative, who you'd like to bring along, they are welcome as well.
