3 years post op and wanted to start working out---advice

some gyms will give you a free personal trainer once when you sign up. If not maybe you could get one just so you could find out what to do. It's expensive but once isn't bad. I've never had a personal trainer. I just do the elipical machine then I do weight machines and then I do 5 and 8 pound free weights. I watch the personal trainers train other people and learn from that. Yes I just don't want to spend the money on a trainer. LOL good luck. Koukla

I'm with you, Rachael, I need to punch my workout routine up a notch. A personal trainer is probably the best route to go, if you can afford it. I can't! But I'm trying to figure this out as well. Good luck! Maureen
