If You Must Pay at the Door...

Hi, All! We don't want to turn people away from the Spring Gala. The bottom line is that we want to have a fun evening, including everyone who wants to be there, and raise some money for ASBS while doing so. So, if for some reason you can't buy your tickets at a support group meeting, at Dr. Aranow's office, or by mailing me a check, here are your other options: - Denise Arscott has generously offered to let people use their credit cards. She'll run it through her family business (Meriden Auto Body) and will issue a company check to pay for the tickets. This is only for those who pay for their tickets in advance. - If using a credit card isn't a viable option for you and you won't have the money to pay for your tickets until the last minute, but are certain that you want to attend, please let me know, so that we can include you in the final count that we must give to the Crowne Plaza by the 27th. So I will check my e-mail, website messages and replies to this post on Mon. night, the 26th, when I get home from the Middlesex support group meeting and will base the number on replies received by then. - If you have issues that preclude you from being able to commit in advance (work, health, etc.), but it turns out at the last minute that you can come, please do so. Debby, Know that all your hard work on this has been greatly appreciated. I know how hard it is to plan events with large number of people. I have to deal with it regularly at my job here at the community center with various trips, classes and events with our residents and I have done our picnic for three years here on OH too with alot of help from other members. Its alot of hard work and sometimes can be rough. Thank you for all you did on this years gala and know that this will be a fun time for us all and we will have a blast this year. When talking to our contact at the Crowne Plaza Wed., I found out that we have to sign something for them along with giving them the final head count. Since we'll be in the area anyway on Mon. evening, Mar. 26th, after the Middlesex support group meeting, it makes more sense to take care of it then than to come back to Cromwell the next day. So please contact me by Sun., Mar. 25th, to let me know if you're coming to the Gala and are getting your tickets at the door. Thank you, Debby
