I HAVE A DATE!

Today's posts are so emotional that I'm almost ashamed to announce that I have a date of April 2nd. I need approval from Anthem, but it is my understanding that they are pretty good, so I'm quite hopeful. FINALLY...I can be the one to raise my hand when they ask about surgery dates at the next meeting I attend! On the 14th, my husband and I will be going to the Middlesex Hospital N4 informational session, as will "Michelle Ma Belle" and her other half. The four of us ( yup, that's really us) plan to go to dinner afterwords to celebrate our pending surgeries...her's is March 28th! YIPPEEEEE!!!!! I've been holding off on buying tickets to the gala in case I got a surgery date. Strange, I know, but I didn't want to be too early post-op to go, or as is the case, have a date so soon after an event with so much temptation (ie: too good a mood around good food!). I will DEFINATELY make it a point to go to next year's event, so Deb will need to save me two tickets when the time comes!!! OMG!!! I MIGHT even be able to wear shoes with HEALS to that!!! YAY US! We look goooood here too () LOL! I'm very excited about our surgeries and I *wish* they were just a tad closer together so we'd at least be able to walk a lap together or something, but that's OK! Can't wait to see you next Wednesday!! To the group: I don't post on a regular basis, but I read EVERY DAY! You guys are SO inspirational and I don't know what I would do without your posts. Fear not, Michelle, for I shall drag you around the nurse's station a few times when I visit you....LOL!!! Just don't forget your pain meds...hee hee hee!!

I am so excited for both of you. I have an appt. with Dr. A this month so hopefully I will be able to find out what I need to do and get on the ball. I hate the waiting.

CONGRATULATIONS - This is such an exciting time for you I hope your insurance comes through and things sail smoothly from here until surgery - get ready for the emotional roller coaster and have fun riding it! have fun at your after meeting celebration too!
