Yeah, I'm thinking of trying to find a store today to walk in. It is a bit nippy to be taking a stroll outside. I decided that hot tea is going to be the way to go for me. But...I don't have any just plain teabags. And I am thinking I should get some Boston Market Tomato Basil Soup for when the surgeon tells me tomorrow I can move to the next phase. I already have eggs. Yeah...Walmart could work. But I'm afraid to go anywhere til the doc gives the okay to drive, because my DH doesn't like when I whimper and gasp at every pothole. He says it is too distracting. I'd rather drive myself.

Oh my goodness... you are SO hysterically funny. Almost peed in my pants. I could relate to everything you said. You should be a writer.... Best of luck to you... Remember, it does get easier. If anybody can do it, YOU CAN!! Patty.

ahhhhhh yesssss... Its been 6 1/2 years since my surgery and you brought it all back to me...THANKS...LOL especially the drain...and remembering to BREATHE...and rembering how it felt like my insides were comming out... You are still lucky, even with all of it, you are the lucky one . I was the unlucky one...I had a leak, I had my opening in my pouch heal up so I needed another surgery, I had a clot in my lung, I spent lots and LOTS of time with those lovely nurses at 3 am, 5 am, round the clock stuff... (almost 6 mos of back and forth hospital stays, sometimes coming back by ambulance in the wee hours of the morning) yep, that was MY story, but I'm here 6 1/2 yrs later doing great....so despite all the lovely stuff you have been through? Consider yourself blessed that you are home experiencing it! LOL congratulations! take care Lynne
