I have a date for a tummy tuck, FINALLY

After years of fighting with CIGNA and agonizing on how I would pay for a TT, I've done it. I found a group of doctors in New Haven, the Yale Medical Group. They are certified and work with Gastric Bypass patients. They were 3K less than everyone else, they are not self employed, but employed by Yale. I'm having my TT on April 23rd. I'm very excited to FINALLY get rid of this excess hanging skin and have a flat stomach for really the first time that I can ever remember. I've never worn a shirt tucked in, even after the weight loss. Wish me luck; I'm sure this will be no picnic. I've had many surgeries in my life. This one is for ME.

Hi Paula, Best of luck on your upcoming Tummy Tuck! Its not nearly as bad as its sometimes talked about. The biggest pain is the drains they put in you. Just a bit annoying but even they get taken out in a week or two. Take care and again, Best Wishes!

Hi Paula I am glad to hear you will have tummy tuck soon!! I agreed with Julio anout drain tubes. I have two drain tubes and they are pain in the butt but when they are out , you will feel more happier and enjoy your freedom without drain tube. Hi Kathy, I remember reading that you were having a TT. When did you have it and come on, how bad is bad? Did you post any of your experience on your page? Thanks for the words of wisdom, I remember the drain tube from the GB. It just feels weird coming out. Are you happy with the results?
