I am new here

Hi, i am new my mother had the gastric bypass surgery a few yers ago and did wonderful. I am looking for a little less drastice measures so i have been looking in to the lap band procedure. The thing is i am 17 years old and will be turning 18 in august. I have emialed Dr. Barba and he said that being 17 could be worked around, but he told me to attend an informational seminar, which i plan on doing. BUt i wanted to know if any one or have any of you heard of getting the lap band procedure done at the age of 17?

Hmm.... i do have a myspace i will check that out for sure. Thanks that really helps. I was researching more online and seen that the youngest age that Dr. Jonathan Anarow would work on is 16 so maybe thats good. I am registering for a meeting in early april and see how it goes from there. If i have to wait till i turn 18 it wont be so bad its not that far away. Its just i think it will be alot to deal with seeing how i turn 18 in august and then at the end i am going away to college i think it will just be an overload with two big changes in my life. I am just going to hope for the best. Thanks for your replys. :angel:
