I WAS DENIED!!!!!!!!!

I can't even believe it! I really thought that things would go smoothly and actually, they really have been up to this point and it's really not even a big deal. I was denied b/c I had a psych eval in 2005, so I need a NEW psych eval. I was hoping I wouldn't have to do that again because it's expensive! But, what's another $500/$600 when my insurance is covering the surgery at 100%. I really have nothing to complain about at all. Lois (Dr. A's nurse) said that my date would have been March 21st. No go now until I see Kim (the psychologist) and get a letter of approval from her. Lois has spoken to Kim and she is aware of the situation, so hopefully I can get into see her fairly quickly and get a date! I'm not really mad. Just a little bump in the road. I have a call into Kim's office, so hopefully she'll get back to me soon and let me know when I can see her. I hope it's soon!!! Michelle

Hi, I did my psych eval,, at 309 Edward Street in New Haven,, and it cost $300. I was there for about two hours.,, I'm still waiting for them to get the results back to the doctor. But she told me I definitely "passed". So I'm still waiting on a date. Mary Anne

Mary Anne, Dr Aranow only uses one, sometimes two psychologists and makes us stick to these two. No outside sources...So, there's no going to anyone else. THanks for the info, though. paula

Good luck Mary Anne! Let me know when you get your date. I wasn't sure if I'd be crying tears of joy or tears of FEAR! But, when I got the date, I was so happy. I'm still on cloud 9. I can't believe it. Please let us know when you know! Michelle
