Meeting?

Can someone tell me when and where the next support group meeting is the Norwich/New London Area. I just can't seem to find the info anywhere. Thanks Kasey

Hi Kasey...I would tell you if I knew...but I have no Idea....I just popped in to say 'hi' because I grew up in East Haddam and Colchester was such a hic town...now you guys have your own Starbucks!!! We still have Dunkin Donuts....I remember when I was a kid (I'm 37 now) and it would be a big deal to my girlfriend and I to get the whole family together on a Friday evening and go to Middletown to go grocery shopping!! Yup...I'm a country girl...I NEVER pictured myself EVER living in Middletown...and here I am with my hubby and four kids...and it is awesome to get in the car and just run to stop and shop or walmart and have it just 7 minutes away......anyway 'howdy' from Middletown...and I hope your journey is a smooth one!

L+M hospital in New London has one on the third Wednesday of the month (which was today) from 6-8 pm. It is in the room across from the info desk. Backus was supposed to have one also but I never found it. Scott

Hi Kasey, I am in Colchester too, and used to attend the meetings on Mondays in Middletown. If you are interested in going to those, maybe we could carpool. Maybe going with somebody else would give me the motivation to get back in the support group mode, which I could really use. The meetings are on Mondays at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown. They attract mostly Dr.Aranow's patients, but are open to anybody, pre or post op. It is only about a 35-40 minute ride from Colchester,and I would love the company. Marcia

Marcia, I wouldn't mind wind car pooling. Maybe we can meet for coffee or something thing first, just to meet. I go my GB done in Boston at New England Medical Center.We moved to Colchester 2 years ago and I have just been going to my PCP. I need to find a GB DR and anywany. You didn't ask all that.
