Lapband surgery unsuccessful

Marianne, I am so sorry to hear about this set back. I am also a patient of Dr. Nadzam and am awaiting insurance approval. I have also have found out through an ultrasound from another doctor that I have a fatty liver and small gallstones. I need to send that info to Dr. Nadzam. Did the Dr say he will try again once the liver shrinks? I know you must be nervous waiting for the biopsy results. I will keep you in my prayers and hope he can do the surgery soon. Tina

Hi Tina. I have a followup with Dr. Nadzam on Monday. Hopefully, the biopsy will be back by then.

Saw Dr. Nadzam today. He put me on a ketotic diet. I will eat protein, veggies, salad and a little bit of fat. I should be able to lose 30 to 40 lbs to make lap band placement possible.
