Middlesex meeting tonight panel meeting.....
YOU DID GREAT!!!! Talk about being "on the spot"!! You did it alone and did it well! Actually, you did give me some "food for thought" and I thank you. And thanks for sharing the pics!!!!
It was worth the trip from Norwich!
Take care,
Deb (front row on your left, black coat, long brown hair, brown shirt wire-rimmed glasses LOL!)
Deb,
I am very happy to hear that you found the meeting helpful. It was very hard to be alone. Thank God for Denise. I figured that I could follow two other people before I had to give my story. Nothing like having to wing it.
Thank you for your kind words. Good luck with everything and keep us posted on how everything is going.
Julio~ I know I know...... I will get it on sometime this year... promise!
Hugs,
Chrissy
My pic not being posted is kind of the running joke. Julio and others that are so very kind want to see my mug posted instead of my cow. I have good intentions of getting one on here... just don't seem to get the time to get around to it.
As for your Seminar on the 6th, is your hubby going with you? If not I think it is a good idea for him to go with you. My hubby was reserved when it came to the surgery, but when we went to Doctor Aranow's info session... we both knew that this was for me and that Dr. A was the man to do the job.
I also invite you and hubby to sit down with me and pick my brain. Ask all the questions you might want to know the answers to. But my guess is that when you go to the info session you won't have many questions about the surgery its self.... but probably more personal type of questions. As I said before... don't be afraid to ask.
I am open and will let you know everything that I have experienced. I am not shy when it comes to sharing information with our OH community. I even showed off my scar to a few people that stuck around after the meeting. Nothing like lifting your shirt up for a few strangers.
I am more discreet with the public though. So what info I do share... I ask it stays in the bariatric community. That is my only request.
Please... ask away it is the only way to get the info you will need to make the choices that are right for you. If I don't know the answer... I will find it for you.
This invite is open to all of our community.
Hugs to all,
Chrissy
Hi,
I don't mean to hijack your thread but I will be at the seminar on the 6th also. My husband will be there with me. Luckily, he is supportive. For some reason, at the company where he works, there are several people who've had WLS and he's seen the success. I'm very lucky; he's also pretty nurturing...he cooks and cleans, etc. BTW, I love the pics of your dogs...I have two and they are the lights of my life (in addtion to my kids, of course).
