need a support group

Are there any support groups in the Stamford/Norwalk area??? If so when and where? I feel the need to talk to someone who is going through the same thing.

Thank you, Mighty T., for linking Milissa to our posting. We have peer-lead support group meetings at Norwalk Hospital that are not affiliated with any particular surgical program-- we encourage a wide variety of opinions and hope to leave each meeting having learned from and helped one another. The meetings all start at 6 p.m., are free and are open to all (regardless of where you might have had surgery). We meet in the FIRST FLOOR VOLUNTEER CONFERENCE room of Norwalk Hospital on the FIRST WEDNESDAY of every month and on the THIRD MONDAY of every month. The Wednesday meetings are moderated by me (Steve Colarossi) and the Monday meetings are usually facilitated by Ann VanBramer. To receive reminders of our meetings (and other events), you can go to CTBariatricSupport at YahooGroups and register your email address (but that is not necessary).
