Surgery postponed !

I wanted to let all the wonderful people how appreciative I am for all the support and good wishes. It nice to know that there are other people struggling like myself with Obesity. Well, this morning my husband and I went to the surgical area where we were told that my doctor was sick and had to cancel my surgery. Needless to say, I was very disappointed and in shock. We're hoping that it can be rescheduled for this Friday otherwise it will be next week. If everyone could say a little prayer that it can happen sooner than later, I'd really appreciate it. When I get any news, I'll update everyone. Trish

Hi Trish, I say everything in life happens for a reason! Just knowing that you are going to be rescheduled soon should be a relief! Keep us up to date - I know how nerve racking it can be waiting but you certainly don't want a sick surgeon operating on you!! Keep in touch! Nancy K

Oh Trish! How disappointing! Consider a prayer said.......agree with above--the surgery is a complicated one and you want your surgeon feeling tip top! Let us know when you get rescheduled!

Sorry for the minor set back! Not to worry tho, You want your surgeon to be at the top of his game so be glad he had enough sense to hold off till he was at 100%. Best of Luck on Friday!

Wow, what a letdown that must have been. Take this opportunity to regroup emotionally and know that in just a few days you're going to wake up and start on the most amazing journey of your life. I will be watching for updates. Take care, Maureen
