I have a mental block on foods that belong in blenders. The thought of the way it will look turns me off. I wonder if I will have a different mindset after I get to that stage (Tuesday). I know it is me. I am so glad you all can and could do it. I pray that I will too. I know I need food because i am always tired and I go back to work on Tuesday. I am sure once i get something in my stomach i will not be as tired.

I tell you what Joann. Taste just how awful Baby food tastes and you will learnto appreciate a few shrimp with a touch of ****tale sauce zapped in a little food processor! Whatever you put in it still tastes the same , its just easier for that new "Pouch" of yours to take while it heals. Wal mart has the little food processors for like 10 bucks and i still use it to make chicken salad out of leftover roast chicken! So just give it a try,you will learnto love it and it will only be needed for a little while! Good Luck!

You just let me know what you want to eat and I'll be there ready to blend for you!! I'm telling you- it's not as bad as you think it's going to be. Honestly, you'll be SO happy to finally get a solid food in your belly it really won't matter what it looks like. Now remember Ms. Z- DRINK YOUR WATER and don't be lax about your protein!! (Still doing my job....) Talk to you later~

I lived on the lowcarb yogurts at this stage....never really used the blender much....ricotta cheese, cottage cheese, yogurt, oh, i did blend some soups, and added extra protein...good luck....

Agree! the blender is your friend... try some cooked baked chicken breast and TJ's squash soup together in the blender. Makes really mushy, yet real tasting food. it will keep you satisfied and moving ahead in the slow direction so your baby pouch heals. Keep listening to our awesome Christine! She will guide you well through each stage. T.

hard to get past mental blocks isn't it? i have this mental block about tuna fish having bones in it. there has been times that i've opened up cans of really good tuna to see a fish scale or a fish bone. yuck. so i need to eat fi****s great healthy gotta have it. bout the only way that i will eat fish. but each time i open a can if i see anything that resembles fishy stuff in there forget it the cats get a nice can of bumblebee solid packed white tuna in water. they love my mental tuna block. but...today i craved tuna! i paid over 2 bucks for this gold label tuna. i shook the can cause if you hear alot of water sloshing around in there then its usually pretty solid and the nice yummy part of tuna without any fishy stuff. try it you'll be surpsrised at how it works! if you feel a tump tump when you shake it and hear alot of water then its solid! so i open it up and it looks fantastic! nice color, not fishy smelling, good chunk of tuna! today was treat day i had a tablespoon of low fat mayo with it and cut up some onions too. took a bite. chew chew chew chew cause we have to chew everything until its mushy oatmeally YUMMMMM it tasted wonderful! another bite chew chew chew I swear my jaw should have carpel tunnel...GREAT! what a fantastic lunch I had. I was down to my last bite when I bit into a fish bone!!!!!!! ARGGGGGGG i swear it almost put me into a dumping. i wont touch tuna now for another 12 years! good luck and god bless with the blender thingy. pam
