We're moving to CT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bob got a managerial promotion to Bradley Int'l and we'll be moving sometime in the next few months. He'll probably start by the end of Jan and will have to commute from Westerly there until we get things going. Housing doesn't really sell down here at the beach in the winter, plus, it's a terrible market to sell (not to our favor)....So, we have to work stuff out. We have a TON of stuff to do to get this house ready to sell. Some painting, sprucing up, and finish work that we got lazy about and left undone....the 80% syndrome...get 80% done and put the rest aside "for later"....well, not it's later....got to get the A$$ in gear! Would like to let the kids finish the year out here at their schools, but if the house sells and we find a house and have to move, than they'll have to move on, too. I think we'll be looking in the Windsor area. Bob's tired of commuting and his entire family lives in Windsor, so, it'll be nice. My family lives in Bristol, so that's not too far... Now I'll be able to attend support group meetings and not drive for two hours...Yeee haaaa!!! I'll keep you all posted as to how it goes. We've been waiting on word if Bob got this job for over a month now. Now I can spill the news!!!!!!!! I'll miss the shoreline, but, being near family and friends will be much better, I think. I'm tired of the long drives just to visit friends and family...Christmas was SO tiring; driving two days straight. Getting too old for that! Paula (Bob too!)

Hey Paula - that's great news!!! First congratulations to Bob on the new job!!! And I'm feeling your pain on getting the a** in gear on selling the house! I am also going to be putting my house on the market soon and there is SO much to get done inside! YIKES!!! The Polyanna side to this happening now is that by the time the house is ready for sale you will be in prime ocean real estate selling time. LMAO - and Newington has Healthtrax right there too!!!! Right Tammy? Andover has great walking trails and is only about half an hour (the way I drive) from the airport....RHAM school system is great too! Then there is Andover Lake!
