I am 5 months out and have lost 93 lbs and feel great... but when I look at myself, I dont see 93 lbs gone... It is really weird to me that I dont see it... did anyone else have this? Thanks guys!

Hi Emily, I have this ALL the time. I lost 250 pounds so far and I still see myself as I always have...chubby! I was SO big for SO long, I don't ever think I'll see myself as being my true weight. I know I have lost a lot of weight- I look at myself in the mirror everyday- however, I still "feel" obese. To me, I think it's a feeling that will never go away. I feel great and that's what counts! I'm glad to hear that you are feeling great! Christine

Oh Yes... I found a preop photo of me recently. I was flabergasted. I had not realized just how far I have come. There are days... I think... I have not changed THAT much. Wrong... It takes so much longer for our minds to catch up with the ever changing body.

Hi Emily, Time for you to put a "Pre-Op " Photo up by your mirror. You will see the difference. Our heads take time to adjust to oue new looks, so relax and enjoy your continues sucess!
