OT: Santa Sighting in Essex!
Who's that Hot looking Santa on the Essex Steam Train????? He looks like someone I know!
I brought the girls to see Santa on the Santa train on Saturday. They loved it and our very own Peter was just the best St. Nick. Peter, when you said, "Merry Christmas Terri" Abby just about fell off the chair. "MOM! how did he know your name!!!????" Funny... nice touch.
So if any of you want a great time with the kids... take a ride to Essex and go on the Santa train. Was a lot of fun.

p.s. I will be looking for that tummy tuck in my stocking.
HI Terri!
I am so glad the girls had a great time! How long was the train ride? I want to rbing the boys so bad....but not sure if they would sit still long enough......they LOVE trainds and they LOVE Santa this year.....so I have been thinking about it.
I may have to take a ride up there!
I hope Santa will bring u that tummy tuck in your stocking! Have a great day!

hey Mary Jo
the ride is about 1 hour long. The train goes very slow and it isn't neccessary for the kids to stay seated. Tons of kids.... your boys will love it. Here is a link:

Now the girls know just how much "pull" Mommy has!!
Wish I had remembered their names so I could have talked to each one more.
Of all the things I do, this is by far the most fun of all.
Yes, I looked hot because I WAS HOT! Cook every day!
Had fun. Glad you enjoyed the trip, and we got the girls too

Hi Paula,
I think they are sold out for advance sale tickets. They say if you arrive at 12:15 at the ticket window they have some tickets available. We must have been lucky, we got there at 1:30, there was a train out at the time... place was empty and we got tix no problem. You could call ahead if you are thinking of going to see if there are any available at the window.

The daytime trains (1:30 and 3:00) are available at the door. Nothing avaiable by phone. This is train ride has more Santa time than the evening trains.
The evening trains (5 & 7pm) are pretty full. It's really hit and miss there. This is a complete presentation based upon "The Night Before Christmas" story. Original music, games, sing alone, and a quick visit from Santa with a gift.
The parlor car is sold out for any date and time.
