Waiting for approval

Well just an update. Dr. E officed faxed my insurance papers to BCBS this morning. Tangela called them to confirm. They told her they may have an answer today. I held off from calling. I am sure she would have called me to tell me ya or na. I will call by Friday. I am scheduled to have my gallbladder removed on 12/12 Tues. I have my quiz and preop apt on that following Friday. Is the test going to be hard? I have held off feelings of excitement. I am sure i will feel a flood of emotion once i get approved. I have read 100's of profiles and articles. It is weird that I do not have any questions except the 3 i have posted. I guess i have waited a lifetime. My Weight will be OVER soon I hope. At this point i am willing to do what ever it takes. I was reluctant to set up a profile page. Why... I guess this struggle has always been so personal. At this point i feel that i must set up a page. The information, encouragement , tears and fears some people have shared can touch a persons life. I can only hope that when I do set up a page others will be encouraged. Thank you to all.

Hey Joann: "The Test"... not hard... they just want to make sure you have paid attention during the seminar and subsequent appts and are aware of what you are about to do and the post op requirements. If I recall correctly, about 7-10 questions. I got one wrong... can't remember what that was! The waiting for insurance approval... the hardest part when you can see it so close to happening. I sobbed the entire way to my nutrtionist appt the day I was approved after a few denials (by a diff ins carrier). BCBS approved me. Hopefully you will get a phone call soon with your approval. One day at a time... you will forge your way back to renewed health. Hope to meet you at a support group when you are post op! Towanda
