Can you suggest any books?
Hey Michelle,
Susan Maria Leach has wrote an awesome book on WLS, along with Carnie Wilson. If you go on bariatriceating.com site they have alot of great books there. I read alot of them and they were so helpful. There are so many of them but here are a few that I have read.
Weight Loss Surgery. Finding the Thin Person Hiding Inside You! by Barbara Thompson. A FANTASTIC BOOK, written by a WLS patient.
A Complete Guide to Obesity Surgery. Everyone you need to know about weight loss surgery and how to succeed by Bryan G. Woodward, MPH, LCEP
Gut Feelings by Carnie Wilson
Weight Loss Surgery. Understanding & Overcoming Morbid Obesity (Life Before, During & After Surgery) by Michelle Boasten
The Real Vitamin & Mineral Book. Using Supplements for Optimum Health 2nd Edition. by Shari Lieberman, Ph.D. and Nancy Bruning.
The Doctor's Guide to Weight Loss Surgery. How to Make the Decision that Could Save Your Life by Louis Flancbaum, M.D., Erica Manfrfed, and Deborah Biskin
Tiny Bites. A Guide to Gastric Surgery for the Morbidly Obese by Saundra Beauchamp-Parke
Fat No More. The Answer for the Dangerously Overweight by Norman B. Ackerman, M.D., Ph.D.
Good Luck to you.
Hugs

What I did was go to amazon.com and look up all weight loss surgery books.
After I found titles, I went to my local public library and took them all out. (If they weren't right at the library, the staff ordered them for me from other libraries)
I read them all. I was eating, drinking and sleeping WLS info! It's better to be very informed on the subject when you make the decision to do this.
It really helped me a lot.
I still read a lot about it...knowledge is power.
