Hello everyone, I had my check up with my PS today & everything is going fine with my recovery. The swelling is going and my healing is on track. Whoot whoot... still can't work out but she's lifted a few more restrictions. (hopefully 2 weeks and I can start slowly working out again) Before I left her office, she told me she had something for me...wasn't sure what it was... but she comes back in with a little gift basket for me...a gift certificate to her spa for a full facial massage (with the works) and a gift certificate to Victoria Secret!! Talk about floored!! I couldn't believe MY PS doctor would give a gift to a patient...I was sooo stunned and a little emotionally...I couldn't help but hug her.. She's such a caring individual *****ally really enjoys her work and seeing the end result of her surgery. I'm sooo glad I chose her...I wouldn't go any place else if I ever needed PS in the future. Down side...yesterday & today I threw up a meal....not sure what is going on...over a year out with WLS and I still does anyone else? My food sat like a ROCK and yesterday I had to "force" up what was bothering me & tonight's dinner came up on it's own however pretty violently. Take care all, Mickey

Michelle- go easy on the food- back down to soft food and lots of fluids during the day- your system is probably a little slower because your activity level is decreased post op from PS

Hi Mickey, So glad that to hear that you're healing well! Oh, to have a smooth tummy! Who is your PS? What town/hospital is she in? She sounds wonderful. Keep on mild foods for a bit to let your system heal. Maybe the pulling, etc is a bit harsh on your insides and your pouch is upset..(just my analysis which means zilch!) Hang in there. And TAKE SOME PIX! We want to see! Paula
