HI, I had my surgery Wed. came home on Thursday. Everything went fine. How many have had thoughts of regretting what you did, is this all common? I am just so tired, wondering if everyday gets better?

Susan, YES Lap band or GB, many of us feel the feelings of "what have I done" now and then. I just had my Open RNY with Dr Aranow on 10/27 and have had those thoughts a few times. It is perfectly normal to question your decision when that decision is a life altering one. Lean on your knowledge, of all you know about how this surgery will inprove your life. You are not alone.

Oh yes, In the very beginning all I could think was " what the he# did I go and do to myself???"..But that passed, and things got better..hang in there, and seek out the support of your peers here and through support group meetings..it really helps...
