Im a new post-op!!!

Hi all!!! I just wanted to let you all know that my surgery went as planned in 10/27/06!!! I am 2 weeks out now and feeling great!! Dr. Aranow is awesome! I'm going to see him tomorrow for my 2 week follow up and 1st post-op weigh in!! I am having no trouble getting in my fluids or protein and am feeling really good. I keep wondering if anything is different inside because the only evidence left that I had this surgery is a line on my belly and a new ease in which I get sleepy!!! I need a nap most afternoons! Thanks to all who sent prayers and get well wishes, they were really appreciated!!!

I plan on coming to the meeting tomorrow Dorota!!! I was actually thinking of going to the one on the 30th ....the day I went home from the hospital but figured a nap was more important!!! Michelle, do you have a date yet?

Hi Beth, I saw your picture and said hey I have seen you around.Anyways congrats on your surgery.Which one did you have? I am planning on having the lap band at the end of Nov.Also Where is this support goup and whose invited? Thanks Erin

Erin, I had open RNY Gastric Bypass with Dr. Jonathan Aranow at Middlesex Hospital. His support groups meet mondays at the hospital. I believe they are just for his patients but I could be wrong.
