I want to come back!
Hi Everyone!
I have not posted in a very very long time, but have missed my OH family more than I can explain. I have been a lurker so I feel as though I know most of you and hopefully some of you will remember me! I am about 2 years and 3 months out and have pretty much maintained my weight for the last year and a half. I never made my personal goal, although my Dr's are very happy with me and feel as though I don't have to lose anymore.
BUT,I am taking a fresh approach now and have decided to lose the last 10-12 pounds once and for all! I joined a challenge at the health club and the top prizes are a free membership and a personal trainer for 4 hours! I am exercising like it is going out of style.(I think this is a form of switching addictions!) I love the club and I love the feeling I get out of doing my classes. I will be competing in a triathlon which will include biking, swimming, and running next week. Well I guess I can go on and on but will stop now and will remain in contact with you guys from here on in.
Sandy
Welcome back Sandy!!!!
WOW, a triathelon...I am oficially impressed....Good luck on reaching your goal....And I have to say you just motivated me to get my a$$ in gear and get back to the gym...I've been exersizing doing stuff with the kids, like riding bikes and hiking,,but it is getting so cold, I am only walking now...
Thanks Dorota,
I must tell you how nice your hair looks. I love the color and style! Yea I am kind of excited about the triathelon. I think it will be a lot of fun! I will let you guys know how I make out. I have found myself to be very competitive at the gym and last year won a prize for doing the most pushups. (It was only a waterbottle) but the biggest prize was that I won! Who would have thought!
Sandy
Hi Julio,
Thanks for the welcome back! I think the best tip I can give anyone who is thinking about this journey is that execise is the key! There has to be movement to be successful, it isn't all about what you eat. Especially as one gets older the metabolism decreases. After 2 years at the gym I even find that my arms are toning up ! How exciting is that!!

Hello Sandy,
Its so nice to see you back on the boards. I have always wondered how you were doing and where you have been. I know alot of people here have missed talking to you. It sad how we lose alot of our OH friends here on the boards. I know everyone has lives, but its nice to see some old faces back from when I started posting two years ago.
Hope you do great with your training and your triathalon. Good luck. Keep up the good work.
Hugs
KimC
Hi Kim,
It's nice to hear from you Kim! I have kept track of your progress and am so happy for you that you are doing so well! I wonder also about a lot of people. I wonder if they are lurkers or have just moved on. I really missed all of you and find that I needed to continue to stay in touch.
