My adventure last night and update on UTI

Awe Thank you Paula! (((hugs))) Lisa, they arn't doing anything for the stone. I have to drink tons of water and take the antibiotics and pain meds... and just let it take it's course. It stinks but it will pass. I am going to go home soon. thank you! Hugs, Chrissy

Okay and you went ot work WHY????Could you possible just go fricking lay down woman? Cripes- go get some cranberry extract capsules too while you are at the drugstore picking up the narcotics. Plenty of fluis and rest- no more work okay????

Well I am back at work today... I wasn't in yesterday. I passed out pretty much most of the day yesterday. I am still not feeling well. I have to call Dr. A because I have a cramp in my tummy or kind of just below it and want to make sure all is well. I am so fed up with my body. I am about ready to tell them to remove the kidneys. Too bad we can't live with out them. Still on drugs, Chrissy

well you could live without kidneys but it would require dialysis about 3-4 times a week for about 4 hours each time..... If you are having chronic infections- then that's something that needs to be looked at. Make sure you FINISH your course of antibiotics, try the cranberry extract capsules I suggested, it acidifies the urine making a less welcoming environment for bacteria Make sure you are really flushing yourself with a ton of fluids- obviously I don't need to tell you to avoid high sugar fluids- you already do that as a RNY'er- Was a culture of the urine taken? Make sure your doctor follows up with the report so that he is sure the bacteria in your urine/kidneys is being killed by the antibiotic you are on. Poor thing, The cramp you are talking about is probably from the bladder. HAve some narcotics for me....
