My adventure last night and update on UTI

Hi everyone, Last night I ended up in the ER due to my UTI. I found I have a kidney stone in my left kidney and a huge infection in my right. I feel like I am in labor. They gave me an iv of fluids, morphine and antibiotics after they blew 3 of my veins. I am tring to get something in so I can thake the vicodine they gave me to help with the pain... I am in so much pain it is making me feel like anything I put in is going to come up. I am at work for a half day. I will get on and post when I get home from getting my scripts filled from last night. This stinks! Hugs, Chrissy

Thanks hon. I am sitting here at work trying to get toast down so I can get the drugs in to stop the pain. I feel like I need to run to the ladies because my tummy is so upset. This is the worst. Some one shoot me! Hugs, Chrissy

Oh you poor thing. Can't you go home? How could you work? The pain. I hope you feel better soon and hopefully pass the stone. UGH!!!!!! Hang in there. good luck. Koukla

Oh, Chrissy, I feel so bad for you! Go home and get in bed and rest...You don't have to worry about the Vicodin and your pouch, it's safe to take. But, if it's making you nauseaus, better to have something on your stomach. I've had kidney infections in the past, but never a stone, so, I can't feel your pain. It must be awful. Force the water big time. It'll rid your body of the toxins and help you to heal. You may want to call Lois and let her know what's going on. Maybe Dr A can offer some advice on what to do. Thank you ladies. I have managed to get 1/2 a piece of toast down and the pill. I am starting to have some relief from the pain. I am taking a half day today because I have some things I need to take care of and then after that.... I am going to bed. Hugs, Chrissy

Geessh Sounds like you work for my old Boss at Aetna where I had to be there even if I was throwing up into my garbage can. I would go home and rest hon or your not going to get better at all. What are they going to do about the stone?
