Well I got my final letter from the insurance company. They denied my surgary once again. Now I have to appeal to the State of Connecticut Insurance. My question is has anyone on the boards done this before? Do I need a lawyer? Where can I find one in Connecticut that has worked on cases like this? Well the good thing is now I'm mad and I'm not giving up EVER even if I have to find a new job with different insurance I will. Thanks for your help. JEN

Jen: I can't help you much. When I had my surgery,my insurance approved it and covered it without any complaint. Now they won't even cover fills. Have you asked around on the insurance forum? Maybe there is someone over there you have suggestions for you: http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/insurance/ Best of luck. Bette

Hey Jen, good to finally get an update from you. I am sorry to hear what it is. I am sure you are feeling very discouraged. DONT! You can do it! You will find a way. You may have to work hard to find it, but that should make you all the more determined to do it. You go girl. I'm sorry I cant help you. I have Oxford, and they approved it the 1st time. So I have no experience on denials, letters, or anything else. Please keep us posted. I am rooting for you all the way! Bree
