Tuesday's Food Log
Hi all,
Having lots of trouble with protein lately. Only lost 1 pound in a week and a half. Everything gets stuck and then comes back up and then I am done eating.
B- Cottage Cheese (40z), 1tbs Polanar all fruit - ate slow and it stayed down
S - Decaf coffee
L - Home made chili - that stayed down last night
s - protein drink
D - more chili or might try fish
S - WW fudgicle

When things get stuck and then comes back up how many days do you revert to the liquid diet and then mushy? If you don't give it enough time you get the illusion that all is well and actually you are still swollen and irritated and it becomes a viscious circle........For me it was like this - I'd get something stuck - stay on liquid for a day - do mushy for day - try a solid it would be okay and for sure the next time I had a solid it would get stuck - I think I wasn't healed enough and the first tried solid irritated me enough so the second solid didn't work right - this could just be my theory - but I started doing 2 days of liquid - 2 days of mushy and alternate introducing the solids by doing a solid then mushy then solid for 2 days before doing solids - it's worked for the last week or so anyway - I was actually going to have some fill taken out on Monday but decided to give it one more shot at this 2.4 level of restriction - Yesterday I didn't eat any carbs - NOT one - I'm trying the plateau buster - this morning I was actually down to the bottom of the same two pounds that I"ve been struggling with since August!! I'm hoping this buster will get me back on my way and restart my attitude..........
Anyway - just thought I'd give you a little unsolicited advice about what to do after something gets stuck - I totally HATE that feeling and every time I get it I kind of regret getting this band - every time I step on the scale and it moves then I'm thrilled with the band

Wow Julio - I can't imagine how awesome it must feel to only be 4 pounds away from goal - that's such an accomplishment - If anyone will get the last 4 off it will certainly be you!
B - Protein shake (with my add ins - flax seed oil & benefiber)
S - 1 ounce lite cheese (baby bella - yum)
L - 1 boiled egg and 1/2 cup low fat cottage cheese
S - 1 string cheese
D - 3 ounces lean hamburger with taco seasoning and 1 ounce of cheese melted on top
S - ??? Staying away from ice cream and twix bars!
I actually noticed immediate results for doing this diet in just one day - the water consumption has me running to the bathroom constantly!!
