Hello Everyone- I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Shannon; I just had lap band surgery on Oct 3rd. I've been reading the board for some a while now. I think it's wonderful; everyone is extremely helpful and supportive. I am glad to have found this place. I am looking forward to getting to know everyone and becoming successful with my new life! My decision to take on Lap Band was a decision that was needed in my life, to improve my overall health and mental state. Oct 3rd was a brand new day for me. Although I've just started on my new journey! I am very excited!! I cannot wait to see the results, while I start to live a positive life! I'll have to figure out how to make a profile and all that applies!

Welcome Shannan! I have to say you picked one great doctor! Don't you just love him?? I was banded on Aug.1st and it has been a great journey so far.
