slipped band symptoms?

Has anyone ever experienced a slipped lap band? I'm having some abdominal pain (lower left side) and not sure if it is my band or if it is intestinal. Just wondering if anyone knows what it feels like if your band slips. Thanks for any input. -michelle

Hey, Michelle! Nope, haven't experienced a slipped band, but I know that I, like every band patient it seems, worries that an abdominal pain is just that. The symptoms of a slipped band usually don't involve physical pain but, rather, the inability to keep ANY food or fluids down. Call the dr's office first thing in the morning. Hey Bette. Thanks for your help. I am scheduled to see Tim on Thursday morning. I am bringing with me my CT scan results as well as my ultrasound report (both tests show all is fine inside). I am 98% sure that my band is just fine too. I have no problems with eating and such. The pain, bloating, "uncomfortableness" is all below my belly button and only on the left side of my back when I lay down. I have been seen by my GP, my OB-GYN and next is Tim. I guess if all is ok with my band then the next step is a GI doctor. After that I don't know where to go because I am all out of letters for doctor's abbreviations!!
