PS Cigna vs Conncare

Greetings friends, I've been denied by Cigna after the 3rd appeal for plastics. The plastic surgion said that I provided them with more documented evidence than anyone else, several letters, photos, proof of rashes, etc. Question: I have the opportunity to switch insurance companies. I only have 2 choices, Cigna or Conncare. Has anyone had any luck with Conncare getting approved for a TT? Thanks for any information, after many months of trying and appealing, I'm getting sick over this.

Do you mean Connecticare? If you do, then forget it. I fought with them to cover my WLS and got nothing! Good luck.

Hi Paula - If Cigna has denied you after 3 appeals than it seems like you have to give Connecticare a shot right? What other choice do you have? Before you make the switch though - call up a Connecticare rep that is knowledgeable about your company's policy and ask them if there are exclusions...........
