Nascobal B-12 nasal spray
Dr Aranow recently prescribed for me this nasal spray for b-12 supplementation. It is SO easy. One squirt in one nostril once a week! How easy is that?
They say the absorbtion rate is higher than a shot and a lot better than pills.
One prescription bottle is a two month supply.
It's easy.
The only draw back is the cost. I have good insurance, and the copay was still 42 dollars. Luckily, there was a rep for the company at the walk and she was giving out 40 dollar rebate slips, so, I have six months for free, basically.
If you get a prescription, ask your doctor if they have any of those rebate slips. THe rep told me she's been giving them to all the doctors.
For me, the cost evens out for my convienence. I can get lazy and not take my b12 daily like Dr Aranow prescribes.
Thought I'd share my experience with this new product.

Since I was poking around on the 'Net today, I went to the company's website. If you click on the link below, you can fill out a patient starter packs . . . and look for the text noted underneath. Dunno how much the coupons are worth, or how many you get, but who knows - could help!
